Good question, Lizzie. Forget 'to be or not to be', this is the real question. Well, let's analyze. The scar is sexy because:
1. It's located on a pair of extremely luscious lips (he uses Burt's Bees lip balm y'all);
2. It's so centered, that the surgeon must have used a ruler;
3. It's hush-hush, i.e. less boring *lol*
Therefore, the scar is sexy q.e.d.
