Director Nelson McCormick chats from Arlington where they shoot the car chase scene. Chris Vance describes the car chase with Michael, Lincoln, and Whistler. Running, sprinting, running around corners, the whole cat-and-mouse scene. Whistler thinks he’s going to get away and then he gets slammed!Their intent was not Hollywood filming; they went for a gritty, messy car and chase scene to feel more real and intense.McCormick says that he prepares the actor by showing him what the camera is going to see. That way they know what they need to do for the stunt or action element to make it look real. Dominic Purcell says that as an actor he’s pretty flighty, he doesn’t know what he’s going to do from minute to minute!
