Wentworth dumb it down a little bit...circuitous.....you could of just said 'long and indirect route' WE KNOW you R a smart man, but for most common folk, dumb it down :) you are in a foreign country..
LOL! Nummy, I have just realized that if I ever get the pleasure of meeting this guy face to face, I might have to bring my big, blue dictionary with me. Oh, how embarassing that will be :)
